A UKULELE band will be entertaining Islanders, and holidaymakers, this Sunday. &am p;lt;br> Uke Box Glory, a 22-strong Hampshire-based ukulele band, will be playing on board Wightlink's 10.15am sailing to Yarmouth, before busking in the town.
They will then hop on the Needles Breezer, and perform at Freshwater Bay, the Needles Landmark Attraction and Colwell Bay.
The band will then return to Yarmouth by bus, and head home on the 5.20pm ferry to Lymington.
Uke Box Glory will be welcoming donations for Wave 105's Cash for Kids appeal.
"We always like to bring ukulele music to new audiences and look forward to touring the Isle of Wight, especially as good weather is forecast," said player Jane Lane.
"We had a dry run on the ferry earlier this week, customers told us they enjoyed a little music in the sunshine and some of them even got up to dance."
