STEVE Boniface couldn't believe it when a painter approached him and asked whether he could convert one of his photos into a work of art.
Regular News Shopper readers will be familiar with Steve's motorsport pictures. Artist Mole Winter spotted a write up about this year's World Superbike meeting at Brands Hatch and was so impressed by the picture of Carl Fogarty and Jamie Whitham, he asked Steve if he could paint it.
Only 500 prints have been produced and one of them is the prize in this week's News Shopper competition. Individually signed and numbered by Winter, this is the first in a series of prints with a motorsport theme.
For a chance to win, simply answer the question at the end and send it on a postcard to Bike Painting Competition, News Shopper, Mega House, Crest View Drive, Petts Wood, Orpington, Kent, BR5 1BT.
If you are not lucky enough to win, you can purchase a print by calling Mole Winter on 01474 327471. They cost £25 or £50 framed.
