THE devastation, after the Isle of Wight was pounded by storms, high tides and violent seas at the weekend, has been revealed.

Isle of Wight County Press readers caught in the storms or left dealing with the aftermath have sent us their photos, showing the extent of the damage.

From Sandown Bay to the Needles, the Island was hit by winds of more than 100mph, combined with rain and huge tidal surges, wreaking travel chaos, landslips and destruction.
