VENTNOR Botanic Garden will not be closed until next Friday, July 17, as suggested by the IW Council this week.
An official notice, which appeared on page 60 of the County Press today (Friday), was incorrectly worded by the council and suggested the garden, visitor centre and car park would be closed for the next seven days.
It will only be closed next Friday morning until 1pm, because of operational reasons, including the royal visit.
