The importance of animals to families is the subject of a talk in Enfield on Sunday.
Inspector Jon Storey from the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA) will discuss the theme One of the Family.
It has been organised by the Cats Protection League and the Rabbit Charity and Enfield Dog Rescue are taking part.
Bric-a-brac and refreshments will also be available at the event which takes place at Lancaster Road United Reformed Church in Armfield Road from 2pm to 5pm on May 10.
The Cats Protection League needs a new owner for Felix (pictured) who has been in care for five months.
He is wary of strangers but is very affectionate with people he knows.
Felix is three years old and needs an owner with time and patience to help him settle down.
For information about adopting a cat contact the CPL on 01707 665 671.
Call the same number about any donations of bric a brac.
