ATHLETES will have an extra spring in their step if a new sports pavilion gets the go-ahead at Perivale Park Athletics Track in Stockdove Way, Greenford, home of the Ealing, Southall and Middlesex Athletics Club. The club has just secured £75,000 for the project and is seeking a further £425,000 from Sport England to fund the pavilion, which will provide modern changing facilities, a warm-up area and classrooms. The venue is used by the borough's youngsters as well as athletes from the British Paralympics team.
