Edie Swain of Sandown Bay Academy who received 8 A* and 5 As.
THE wait was finally over for thousands of Year 11 students who collected their GCSE results this morning (Thursday).
Some jumped for joy while others broke down in tears of emotion moments after nervously opening their envelope.
