Artists in Haringey are to throw open their doors to the public this month as part of a scheme to make arts in the borough more accessible.
The Open Events Programme will enable people to visit artists at their homes and studios and watch them at work.
Meanwhile major arts studios in the borough, like The Chocolate Factory in Wood Green, will also invite the public in.
The programme starts this weekend when Park Studios in Scarborough Road, Stroud Green, opens its doors from noon to 6pm.
Smaller studios and individual artists will be welcoming visitors on November 21 and 22 from noon until 4pm.
And on the weekend of November 28 and 29 The Chocolate Factory, Haringey's flagship arts centre, will be open.
Visitors will be able to meet and talk to artists, and purchase some of their work, which ranges from paintings and sculpture furniture.
For photography enthusiasts, local centre Optima Studios will be offering processing facilities and short courses, and photographic exhibitions will be held in their own gallery. Ring 0181 881 0064 for more information.
For details on all the open events, ring Haringey Arts Council on 0181 365 7500, or pick up a leaflet at
