HUNDREDS of people enjoyed walks on the Island at the weekend thanks to the Isle of Wight Autumn Walking Weekend.
More than 70 walks were on offer for visitors and locals to enjoy between last Friday (Oct 26) and yesterday (Monday) including a walk at Yarmouth Harbour to enjoy estuary birds and a fossil hunting walk in West Wight.
Other walks included a duck-feeding walk at Big Meade, Shanklin and a singing walk at Merstone where people were encouraged to bring their own instruments.

This should become a more regular event, why keep to just twice a year
