Bembridge Fort, on the Isle of Wight. Picture by Chris Thwaites.
WALKERS will have the chance to learn about different parts of Isle of Wight history at a walk on Sunday.
The Geology and Fort Walk starts at Dinosaur Isle and will take a route along the cliff path to Culver Battery and to Bembridge Fort, where there will be a guided tour from the National Trust.
Walkers will learn about the Island’s geology, dating back 40 million years, as well as 150 years of military defences.
The walk starts noon and is due to last around two hours, not including the fort tour, or the return walk.
The walk costs £5 plus £3.50 for fort entry. To book a place contact (01983) 404344.
