THE Met Office has issued a flood alert for the Isle of Wight coast.

At 3.11pm the Met Office issued the alert, predicting Force 5 Westerly winds and a high tide level of 2.16m.

Wightlink has cancelled its 16.05 and 17.05 sailings from Yarmouth to Lymington, due to the high winds.

All other ferry services are currently operating to timetable.
