UPDATED FRIDAY 10:03

A WARNING for heavy rain has been issued by the Met Office for Sunday, although there is still a lot of uncertainty forecasters have said.

The yellow 'be aware' warning is in force for whole day.

The Met Office said: "There is a risk that wet and windy weather will spread north from the Bay of Biscay on Sunday to some southern areas.

"However there is a large amount of uncertainty at present, such that it is possible that the rain may not reach our shores at all."

The chief forecaster's assessment said uncertainty was higher than average for the weekend's forecast and if rain did reach us: "It is likely to be heavy at times with between 20mm and 30mm falling widely with potential for 40mm to 50mm over hills"

*The Met Office has said there is a risk wet and windy weather could continue on Monday, but there was still a large amount of uncertainty about the forecast.

So, it could rain on Sunday, but it may miss us?

Ok, I will be walking naked down through Newport with 20 page 3 girls on Sunday, but I may not be doing that at all.

This is Summer folks, we expect rain!!!

Thanks for the warning I will make two sets of plans for Sunday, one indoor, one outdoor.

Mr Hunnybun, I consider the IWCP to be very good, but I am an incurable sarcastic and I just couldn't help myself. But seriously - I know the forecast came from the Met Office. I also know that reporting that it might rain this weekend is not news.

If you consider the IWCP to be so bad, why do you visit the site?? If you took the time to actually read the article, this has come from The Met Office.
