A WEATHER warning for heavy rain on the Isle of Wight today (Saturday) is no longer in force.

The Met Office issued the warning earlier this week, however it has now said the area affected does not include the Isle of Wight.

Following thunderstorms earlier today (Saturday), the forecast for the rest of the day was for sunshine and cloud.
