IT MIGHT be all about what is happening on the water today (Saturday) for some people, but there are plenty of other great things happening on the Isle of Wight this weekend.

In addition to Round the Island Race, there will be an Armed Forces Day celebration in Ryde, featuring an aerial display by the Yakovlevs display team this evening and activities from 10am.

The talented Tritone Singers will perform their summer concert at St Catherine's Church, Ventnor, starting at 7.30pm, when the audience can expect music from Holst and Gounod to the Beatles.

Tickets are available on the door.

Wight Trash will be raising money for Isle of Wight teenager Joe Ellis at Simeon Street, Ryde, with a record setting skate event.
