ON the coldest afternoon of winter this year, snow came to the Island.
Phone giant Nokia imported the snow to Seaclose Park, Newport, on Wednesday as part of its pre-Christmas party for hundreds of Islanders.
The Finnish-style event featuring tons of real snow, Christmas trees, Christmas craft-making for children, warming drinks and snacks and Snowdrop the reindeer and her fawn.
