AN IMPULSIVE Shooters Hill woman killed herself after a row with her boyfriend.

Sandra Jensen stormed out of David Beecham's home following a disagreement and returned to her Shrewsbury Lane home.

When she rang the flat and asked to speak to her children, Mr Beecham said they were asleep and he would not wake them.

It was then she threatened to kill herself.

When Mr Beecham later rushed to her flat he found her lying on her bed, “as though she had gone to sleep”.

He told Southwark Coroners' Court throughout their three- month relationship, Miss Jen-sen had seemed happy.

Julia McCarthy said her close friend Miss Jensen had appeared happy in her relationship with Mr Beecham.

But, Mrs McCarthy added, Miss Jensen had telephoned her following the row, asking her to tell the children she loved them and “she was going”.

Pathologist Dr Peter Jerreat said Miss Jensen had taken a massive overdose of high- strength pain killers coproxamol combined with alcohol.

Coroner Selena Lynch described the death, on May 31, as a tragedy, and recorded a verdict Miss Jensen killed herself while the balance of her mind was disturbed.
