By a County Press reporter

Wednesday, May 14, 2014

With the 2014 Euro elections little more than a week away, is the Isle of Wight intending to vote or will it stay at home when it comes to choosing our representatives in Brussels?
The County Press is asking two simple questions in order to find out the level of interest, and who people will put their cross against if they do intend to vote.
The vote is on the d'Hondt proportional representation system, with ten MEPs being returned for the South East region, which the Island sits within.
The parties contesting the election in the South East are: An Independence From Europe; British National Party; Christian People's Alliance; Conservative; English Democrats; Green Party; Harmony Party; Labour Party; Liberal Democrats; Liberty GB; Peace Party; Roman Party; Socialist Party of Great Britain; UKIP; YOURvoice.

The poll has now closed.
Results of our poll will appear in Friday's County Press.
