A bag containing a quantity of prescription drugs was stolen from a property in Balmoral Drive, Borehamwood. The blue holdall contained the anti-convulsive Sodium Valprote, which if taken in large doses can be fatal. Phenytoin, which is used for the treatment of high blood pressure, was also in the stolen bag.
Police are keen to hear from anyone who may have any information on the theft because of the serious nature of the goods involved. The incident took place on Sunday last week at 5.40pm. Anyone with information should telephone the crimedesk on 0181 733 5044.
