Wilmington Gram-mar School for Girls has reached the South East U16 Netball Championship finals, despite being beaten in the Kent title decider by Bexley Grammar School.
Wilmington's squad, which included of Zoe Floate, Natalie Mitch-ell, Natalie Wiggins, Helen Barnard, Jenny Lay, Stephanie Wood-house, Sinead Turner, Danielle Mercieca and Louise Crawley storm-ed through to the semi-final amassing 107 points against only 23 in their ten qualifying matches.
But in the semi-finals the girls had to pull out all the stops to edge out Maidstone Grammar
8-7 before going down by the odd score in an 11-point final.
