EMERGENCY services, including the coastguard, police and Isle of Wight Ambulance Service, were called to the aid of a woman who fell around 30ft from a cliff at Culver this afternoon (Friday).
The woman, in her 30s, suffered non-life threatening injuries, but had been taken to St Mary's Hospital to be fully assessed according to an Isle of Wight ambulance spokeswoman.
Martin Groom, of Bembridge Coastguard, said he believed the woman had fallen around 30ft, however it was not a sheer drop.
He warned people that at this time of year, during wet weather, cliffs could be particularly dangerous and more prone to fall.
The coastguard helicopter was initially requested to attend, but was not required.
