The woman was taken by ambulance to St Mary’s Hospital, Newport.

Fire crews made the scene safe.

*A 31-year-old woman, who was behind the wheel of another vehicle involved in the incident, has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving. She was released on police bail until June 3.
