COPY deadline is approaching for the excellent local Trinity Herald summer edition of the Parish Magazine. Editors David and Maggie Page are looking forward to receiving your articles, ideas and local reports for possible inclusion in the next edition. They need them by March 15 to: Swallow House, Perks Lane, Prestwood. You can call them for more details on 01494 863176.

DON'T forget that The Trinity Herald editors are giving away a fiver for the best example of a mangled and distorted home address that somebody used to write to you and, against all the odds, you got the mail. Send your home address howler to David and Maggie at the above address by next Friday, and you may find yourself in print.

THERE'S a great deal to discuss at the AGM of The Prestwood Society on Tuesday, March 19, and you are invited to take part. One of the key debates is whether Prestwood should have its own parish council. What you do think? Come along to the village hall for 8pm and have your say.

MEET Mary Spiller, who used to work for the famous Waterperry Gardens, next Thursday evening at 8pm in the village hall. She is giving a talk entitled Growing Herbaceous Plants for the Prestwood Gardening Society. Admission is free to members and £1 for non-members.

GARDENERS Year and Garden Design is the title of a special WEA day course on Saturday, March 16, in Prestwood Village Hall.
