But in the mixed over 100 doubles - the combined age of each team had to exceed 100 years - Sue Reyell and Brian Barry beat Mick Rans and Adrienne Harrow 6-1 7-5.

The ladies handicap doubles saw Gill Collins and Gaby Weidlich win 6-2 6-4 against Janice Retter and Adrienne Harrow, while the mixed handicap doubles saw Jonathan Readman and Brenda Dayles beat Robin and Mary Whyte in straight sets, 6-4 6-4.

And the mixed medley doubles went to Don Weir and Sue Revall, who scored a 6-4 6-3 win over David Powell and Linda Bird.
