UNEMPLOYED people will be able to get IT training for free thanks to £155,000 of cash from the European Social Fund.
The courses are available to anyone aged 18-plus who have been unemployed for the last six months.
The free courses will start in January, at Orpington College's newly-furbished IT centre in St Paul's Cray.
The Midfield Centre was opened last month by Jeremy Beadle, who spent most of his childhood in St Paul's Cray.
The college has tailored the courses to improve computer literacy and management skills. For more information, call Orpington College on 01689 899700.
