Two young men from Borehamwood will live the American dream this summer teaching children to play soccer at a Pennsylvania summer camp.
Darren Bendick and Paul Melman, both 20-years-old, have accepted jobs as counsellors at the Pinemere Camp, in Pennsylvania's Pocono Mountains, and will fly out in June.
Mr Bendick, from Hartforde Road, said he had been working with children and young people for the last four years, and hoped to make a career out of it.
"We are staying for around eight weeks, and then hopefully I can head off and do some travelling for a couple of weeks and see the sights."
Because the trip has been organised by Camp America, the flights and accommodation are paid for.
