Staff and volunteers at the Mayhey Animal Home are working round the clock to feed six orphaned puppies rescued from a fire which killed their mother.
A spokeswoman for the home in Trenmar Gardens, Kensal Green, said: ñThis is a critical time as the after effects of the smoke inhalation may not be apparent for two or three weeks.
ñThey cry constantly for the warmth and smell of their mumÍs body.
