TOWN centre landlords have struck a deal which will roll a new ten-pin bowling alley into town later this year.

The owner of Broad Walk and Terminus Street shopping precinct Courtenay Investments has signed a deal with leisure company Leisure Box to build a 14 lane bowls venue above Passions nightclub, Terminus Street, Harlow.

Harlow Council has welcomed the new leisure facility, due to open in October, which will be accessed by two new lifts.

Council chairman John Young said: This is just what Harlow town needs.

What is particularly heartening is that this is an activity which we know local young people and families will welcome and enjoy.
