?VECTIS Rugby Club is on the hunt for new players.
The club's under-13s side is keen to recruit more Year 8 players, having struggled to raise a side all season.
The team only played their first match of the season recently, when they combined with Fawley to play Trojans in Eastleigh.
Chairwoman Sarah Kearney said: "Rugby is about teamwork, discipline and especially respect for the referee, the opposition and other members of your team.
"But most of all it’s about enjoyment and that’s why so many parents love it — almost as much as the kids."
The club trains at Ventnor RFC on Sunday mornings at 10.30am.
