CHILDREN from Knockhall Community Primary School, Greenhithe, enjoyed taking part in an architecture workshop last week.
The specially-arranged day involved youngsters from years four and five who built pyramids of different sizes to understand the triangle of forces theory.
Years five and six discovered Victorian Engineering and worked to create a structure similar to the Crystal Palace.
Architecture Workshop is a group which uses team work to encourage learning and interest in architecture.
Susan Shirley, school administrator, said: "It's real fun. The children benefit from working in teams and learning about the strength of structures."
