Hertsmere residents who are planning street parties or other celebrations to mark the Queen's Golden Jubilee can now get advice on how to organise safe and successful events.
The borough council's environmental health department, with the emergency services, has produced an information pack with details on issues such as safety and licensing. For a pack phone 020 8207 7435.
The Government has also set up a Golden Jubilee Office to support and co-ordinate celebrations. To contact the office call 0845 000 2002.
Anyone who is planning a street party and would like to enquire about road closures should contact borough traffic management officer PC Andy Chittenden on 01923 472 715.
