SAILINGBrading Haven YC
THE third and fourth races in the BHYC Icebreaker Series were held at the Brading Haven Yacht Club in cold but fairly calm conditions, under the strict control of race officer John Carter.
The first race had Phil Wright’s RS Tera leading the field, in a short but action-packed race, with the Scows hot on his tail.
Over the finish line, Phil took line and handicap honours. Barry Dyer was second in his Scow with cadet member, Izzy McInnes, a very close third.
Izzy pulled out all the stops for the next race to cross the winning line 85 seconds ahead of the rest but had to settle for a third position on corrected time.
Chris Wilkinson won the event in his Scow, with Phil second.
