Suffolk travelled to Hemel Hempstead on Sunday to hit Comet Mustangs for 12.

From the off, Suffolk pushed Comet back, with Chris Drury and Josh Godden up front looking likely to score.

Russel Alam and Brian Green in midfield kept prompting, and once they had broken the Mustangs' defence, the goals came regularly.

Godden helped himself to a hat-trick, Drury snatched two goals and a fine Tim Soane effort hit the roof of the net before half time.

With Mat Hudson and Kirk Stout getting around the back of the Mustangs' defence, more goals were on the cards, and the lively Jack Dyer helped himself to a hat-trick of his own.

Suffolk, now playing three at the back, were still able to control the forwards with defenders Danny Woolveridge and Niall Hardiman teaming up to extinguish the Comets.

Nathaniel Botsio was showing his strength as the pitch cut up with some strong runs, enabling Drury to take his personal tally up to five, one with his left foot.

Suffolk were awarded a penalty and up stepped goalkeeper Kevan Marshall, but, obviously feeling sorry for his opposite number, he hit his shot straight at him.
