A STUDY of traffic in Petts Wood will be used to tackle congestion in Bromley borough town centres.
The Petts Wood project will look at levels of car use, cycling and walking, as well as ways of reducing traffic congestion.
Bromley Council's aim is to make cycling and walking to town centres more attractive.
Adrian Bell, head of transport strategy, said: "Local economies have lost out over many years because people drive to bigger town centres.
"We want to support local shops by encouraging people to walk or cycle to them."
