A school has been shortlisted for a learning award which offers £25,000 funding for an e-history project to all who reach the last round.
Alperton Community School in Ealing Road, Wembley could win the BT Lifelong Learning Award after beating more than 130 applicants with its Millennium Volunteer project.
The scheme will develop multi-media records of oral histories from the community to be used as resources in teaching literacy.
