JD WETHERSPOON has announced the opening date of its new £1 million pub opposite Wood Green Tube station.
It will open below the partially-complete Hollywood Green cinema complex on Wednesday, May 17 ? five months since work began.
The firm hopes to create 20 jobs, full- and part-time at the pub, which is the latest in a series of food and drink outlets to open in the complex.
The venue will follow in the Wetherspoon tradition ? music-free with a large non-smoking area.
