A GOVERNMENT minister visited a specialist college to discuss its proposed relocation.
Minister for Lifelong Learning, Further and Higher Education Margaret Hodge went to Ravensbourne College, Walden Road, Chislehurst, where she met with the college's
director, Robin Baker, to talk about proposals for moving its facilities.
The independent college trains students for the creative and communications industries.
One option being considered by the college is moving to a purpose-built facility nearer central London.
Mr Baker said: "Mrs Hodge was very supportive of the college's aim to grow and develop as a force in the creative industries.
"There are several options being considered, including an expansion, but a move which would triple capacity and improve facilities seems to be the best."
