ELEPHANT and rhino number twos are being processed into manure to create animal models by a pioneering environmental organisation.
Prime8, an environmental company based in Orpington High Street, is using the manure to make models of its eight animal characters which carry an environmental message.
The manure comes courtesy of Dunstable's Whipsnade Animal Park, from its seven elephants and 14 rhinos. The figures will be used to campaign on major ecological issues in schools and companies and to promote recycled fuel products. The company already produces barbecue coals called Jungleglow which is made of crushed coconut shells.
It has also sold a large batch of the nutrient rich Junglepoo to Kensington and Chelsea local authority to use in London's Holland Park.
