Kurston Dyer.
ANGLING
A GURNARD angler with more than 30 years’ experience had the catch of his life last week, snaring a cod weighing more than 30lbs.
Kurston Dyer, 37, a contracts manager for Mountjoy, was on his friend’s boat, Becky May (skippered by Kev Sampson), just off The Needles when he made his catch.
After a two-hour wait he got the fish, which took around 20 minutes to bring in. It was weighed in at 31lb 4oz, his biggest ever catch.
