A LOT has been said recently about affordable housing for essential workers of London: nurses, teachers, fire-fighters etc.
London, along with the rest of the country, already had a solution: it was called council housing.
Unfortunately Margaret Thatcher with her culture of greed put paid to that. So we know who to blame.
