An 80-year-old Thornton Heath man suffered a broken collar bone and was knocked unconscious last week, when he was attacked and robbed in a busy street.

The attack occurred on the busy junction of Brigstock Road and Parchmore Road, Thornton Heath on Wednesday, January 30, at around 6.15pm.

The elderly man had just left a kebab shop in Brigstock Road when he was attacked. He was knocked to the floor and the robber stole his watch and wallet containing just £10 and some credit cards.

He was taken to Mayday Hospital where he is still recovering from his injuries.
