ISLANDERS have been urged to get behind Newport FC in their FA Cup clash against Salisbury tomorrow (Saturday).
The Isle of Wight side remain unbeaten this season, but will face their toughest challenge of the campaign so far when they take on Salisbury, who are three divisions above them.
But in an interview for the club's website www.newport-iwfc.com, Newport assistant manager John Simpkins said they had a chance of pulling off a shock.
Simpkins, who previously played for Salisbury in the FA Cup, said: "We'll be up against it, but I think we can beat them.
"Newport's a good place to be at the moment."
He added: "Get behind us, bring numbers, bring your friends. Get behind the goal and get the chants going."
Sports editor Clare Newman will be Tweeting live from the game via @iwcponline
Kick off is at 3pm.
