ISLE of Wight cricketer Adam Hose has signed a three-year deal with top county Warwickshire.
He moves to Birmingham with immediate effect from his present county Somerset, where he had broken into the first team this season.
Adam, a former Carisbrooke High School pupil and Ventnor player, had impressed for Somerset with some good scores in all competitions.
At Warwickshire he will play alongside current England player Chris Woakes and former internationals such as Ian Bell and Jonathan Trott.
Former England spinner Ashley Giles, Warwickshire's sport director, told the club's website, "At 24 years old, Adam will have the opportunity to be part of Warwickshire and Birmingham Bears teams for many years and we're very excited he has chosen to become a Bear."
Birmingham Bears is the club's name in The T20 Blast competition.
Adam is the son of former Ventnor stalwart Jeff Hose.
