As a result of Tiffin School sixth former's success he has been selected to represent Great Britain in the double sculls event in an International Regatta at Duisberg Germany on May 13 and 14.

Edward, who is taking his A-levels soon, has continued to build upon his last year's rowing successes where he represented Great Britain at junior level, gaining gold and silver medals in the coxed and coxless 4's events at Munich and was in the Great Britain eight crew that was fifth in the world championships in Bulgaria.

Edward also stroked the winning Tiffin/Leander Club crew in the quads sculls Wyfold Cup at Royal Henley Regatta. Earlier this year in March Edward steered the Tiffin Quad Sculls crew to a massive 29 second win in the Mortlake to Putney Schools head event. Under the guidance of Tiffin's new rowing coach Colin Barratt.

Edward is delighted to have broken into the Great Britain senior team as it is his first year as a senior and hopes to win a place in the U23 Great Britain team for the World championships event held in Copenhagen in July.
