Team Pearson's Tim Morley flys out to Canada tomorrow (Friday) to represent Great Britain at the World Mountain Bike Championships.
The 18-year-old from the Sutton-based M-Trax team is aiming for a top ten finish.
Young's chance
BOWLS:
Christopher Young, the 20 year-old bowling sensation from Carshalton Beeches, bids for a place in the Paston Cup final tomorrow night.
The Surrey Champion from the Cheam Village Bowling Club plays at Chipstead in the semi-final of the Sutton and District Bowling Association's tournament before leaving for Ireland to represent England in an Under 25s tournament against Scotland and Wales.
CRICKET:
Cheam Cricket Club qualified for next season's Eve Surrey Championship Premier League on Saturday with a win over Reigate Priory on Saturday. Sutton and Banstead also qualified.
