A FORMER old people's home is to be converted into 12 apartments.
Farr Horizon Developments was given the go-ahead to build nine apartments at Haulgh Cottage, in Radcliffe Road, The Haulgh, Bolton, last August, but applied for planning permission to add three more to the scheme.
Councillors approved the plans at a meeting of the Bolton Council's planning and highways committee on Thursday.
The nursing home closed last year, having been blacklisted by Bolton Council following a Government inspection which criticised levels of cleanliness.
