VIDEO ISLE of Wight goalkeeper Simon Moore has been named in the PFA League One team of the year.
The 26 year old, originally from Sandown, started his career with Brading Town, but next season he is on course to be enjoying Championship football, after his current club Sheffield Utd secured promotion.
In an interview with Blades TV after receiving the accolade, Moore described the decision to join the Sheffield as the best career decision he had ever made.
"This is a great honour, to be voted for by your fellow professionals, and it also shows how good we have been as a team to have had five players named in the team," said Moore, who has kept 16 clean sheets this season.
