A PACKED St George's Park watched Portsmouth FC beat Newport 8-0 last night (Tuesday).
The League 1 club fielded a mix of fringe players and established stars, running out comfortable winners against the Isle of Wight's Wessex Premier League side.
Pompey's Nicke Kabamba netted five, with Jamal Lowe chipping in with two after Milan Lalkovic's early strike.
Scott Sampson had Newport's best chance but his first-half header was tipped over.
