THIS year’s mixed open Maidan Trophy at Osborne GC was a close one to call.
With a number of scores of 39 points, it was Peter and Geraldine Parmenter, of Shanklin and Sandown Golf Club, who won on countback during the competition.
John and Normah Poingdestre, were second on countback, with Jane Groves and Bob Wilson in third.
