IW SQUASH team continued their fantastic form with a comfortably away win at Winchester last week.
After a shaky start, which saw Rob Haworth win his first game 9-6 but lose his next three games, and the match, the IW pulled away.
Karl Hardy played some outstanding squash to win 9-7, 9-0, 9-1, before undefeated Callum Arnott continued to blow the opposition out of the water winning in only 20 minutes, 9-2, 9-2, 9-0.
Chris Green found the going tough in his match up against Adam Corcoran.
Chris lost the first game 9-6 but won the second with the same score. The two players traded games again but Adam took the deciding game 9-0.
Top seed Adam Dominey won his first two games in quick succession and, after losing the third, regained his composure to take the next 9-4, to make it a 17-7 win for the IW.
This weekend, Westridge Squash Club host the Hampshire Closed Squash Championships for the first time, with action tomorrow (Saturday) and Sunday. IW players will be taking part.
