TRAMPOLININGTHE first regional grade competition of 2012 brought a series of excellent results for the small West Wight Club team last weekend.
Making her debut at this level, Amy Hodgins and Abi Coates-Evans, could have been forgiven for being nervous. But they were not deterred and Amy produced a great performance to win her individual competition in the under-11s G grade contest, while Abi came seventh.
With Holly Robinson-Phenix also competing soundly for 19th, they secured a good third place finish as a team.
Amy also made the necessary qualification score to move to F Grade when ready.
At the same grade, but at under-13s level, Josie Coleman made a couple of costly errors in her performance to finish 19th.
Consistent and determined training over recent months certainly paid dividends for both Yasmin Rogerson and Emily Boynton, who both competed at under-15s E grade.
Emily for the first time at this level, put in a best-ever performance to come 16th, while Yasmin found superb form throughout her routines to take a superb third.
She also scored well over the qualification marks needed to move up to D Grade, which is also the entry level for the national programme.
