Robbie Brown.
ICE HOCKEY ROBBIE Brown has re-signed for the Wightlink Raiders. The forward was part of the Raiders’ title-winning side of two seasons ago, and last year enjoyed stints at Invicta Dynamos and English Premier League side Peterborough Phantoms. The 21 year old’s signing means two members of the Raiders’ title-winning team have now returned after time in the Premier League, and a spokesperson for the club said player-coach Jeremy Cornish was working flat out to sign the best squad possible to regain the English National League title.Robbie said: “I was really pleased to get the call from Jeremy and I’m really glad to be back with the Raiders. “It looks like we’re building a formidable team and we’re looking forward to bringing that ENL League trophy back to the Island.”More signings are expected to be announced next week.
